Lost something in Attersee? We search for it underwater.
Attersee is clear and deep, and that is exactly why things that slip off a jetty or boat often do not go far. We search the bottom with an underwater drone without anyone having to dive, and we come to you in the Salzkammergut.
- Up to 100 m deep
- 4K camera with strong light

What affects the search
Attersee is about 171 m deep, the deepest of the big Salzkammergut lakes. The drone dives to 100 m, so what matters most is where exactly something fell in.
Things dropped from jetties, bathing spots and boats usually land in the shallow shore area, where the bottom is easy to search.
How far something slides down a slope depends on the bottom. The sooner we search, the smaller the search area.
How the search works
- Send a request
Tell us what fell into the water and where. Photos of the spot help narrow the search.
- We search
We come to the water with the underwater drone and search the bottom systematically. A live 4K picture and 5000 lm of light show us what is down there even in murky water.
- Recovery & handover
Found it? We bring it up and hand it to you on the shore, with a video of the find.
The drone (FIFISH V-EVO) dives to 100 m, films in 4K and lights up with 5000 lm. Nobody has to get in the water.
What does it cost?
Prices are on request because every search is different: the type of job, the location and the area decide, above all the travel. You tell us what happened and get a fair quote before we set off. We do private searches on a voluntary basis; ideally a contribution for fuel and parking and a voluntary finder’s fee are welcome. There is no guarantee of success: water, visibility and the bottom all play a part.
Frequently asked questions
Can you search all of Attersee?
We search down to 100 m. A loss near the shore is easy to reach; in deep water we need an exact position.
Where in the Salzkammergut do you work?
We come to jetties, bathing spots and boat moorings on Attersee, for example in Attersee, Unterach or Seewalchen.
What should I do until you arrive?
Stay calm, do not stir up the bottom, record the spot with a photo that has the GPS position, and note two reference points on the shore.
What happened? Write to us.
The sooner we search, the better: current and silt move things over time.
