Lost something in the Danube in Vienna? We search for it underwater.
In a recovery under the Reichsbrücke we brought bicycles, e-scooters, safes and even a microwave out of the Danube from about 5 metres down. We search for your phone, keys or ring with the same technology, in Vienna and the surrounding area.
- Up to 100 m deep
- 4K camera with strong light
- All over Austria

What affects the search
The Danube has a current. The longer something lies in the water, the further it may have moved. Reporting early pays off.
The Old Danube and the New Danube are calmer. Things dropped from jetties and bathing spots usually lie near where they fell in.
Stolen goods are often thrown into the water. We search for owners and insurers, in coordination with the police.
How the search works
- Send a request
Tell us what fell into the water and where. Photos of the spot help narrow the search.
- We search
We come to the water with the underwater drone and search the bottom systematically. A live 4K picture and 5000 lm of light show us what is down there even in murky water.
- Recovery & handover
Found it? We bring it up and hand it to you on the shore, with a video of the find.
The drone (FIFISH V-EVO) dives to 100 m, films in 4K and lights up with 5000 lm. Nobody has to get in the water.
What does it cost?
Prices are on request because every search is different: the type of job, the location and the area decide, above all the travel. You tell us what happened and get a fair quote before we set off. We do private searches on a voluntary basis; ideally a contribution for fuel and parking and a voluntary finder’s fee are welcome. There is no guarantee of success: water, visibility and the bottom all play a part.
Frequently asked questions
Can you search in a current?
That depends on how strong the current is. We tell you honestly whether a search makes sense before we set off.
Do you search in the Old and New Danube?
Yes, at jetties, bathing spots, harbour areas and bridges in Vienna. Tell us the place and we will see what is possible.
What about stolen items?
We search for bicycles, e-scooters or safes for owners and insurers, in coordination with the police.
What happened? Write to us.
The sooner we search, the better: current and silt move things over time.
